I graduate in less than a month, and you better believe I am frazzled about where I will be in the next 6 months. People keep asking me what my plan is, and all I can say is, “Well, still looking…” Â But I know I’m not alone. Finding a job is hard, especially the RIGHT job…
Here are some thoughts that can go through my head on almost a daily basis concerning finding a job:
Â
- When someone asks me what my weekend plans are:
Â
- But then I’m not sure I qualify for any of the ones listed…
- So maybe I can just explain everything I’m good at REALLY ELOQUENTLY, and it’ll make me sound like I’m qualified?
- When underclassmen think I should have a job already:
- Can I just stay a kid and have fun?
- I mean I have a lot of stuff on my plate already…
- But I realize there is still time to figure things out..
- But I can be successful! After all, I passed my Sewanee Comp, right?Â
- And I will find a job eventually…
Â
Good luck, fellow seniors! The world is our oyster!Â
