Take Us Back to the 90s

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sewanee chapter.

Let’s set the mood:

or

We should all be thankful to live in an age of forward-thinking technology. However, sometimes it’s important to remember our past. The 90s happened almost fifteen years ago. Kids who were born in 2000 are now becoming teenagers–so let’s face it, there are things that only we learned college students will remember and appreciate.  Whether you lived under a rock or were the coolest kid in school, hopefully you will remember and hold dear most of the following…

1.Hating when your gel pens ran out of gel.

2.Having to rewind the VHS when the last person forgot.

3. Butterfly hair clips.

4. Skip It and Bop It.

5. Learning how to draw an S with only lines.

6.Passing notes in class and having to read it out loud if you were caught.

7.“Rolling Down the Window”.

8.Lite Brite: my fav.

9.Easy Bake (I never made anything that looked as good as it did in the picture).

10. Wonderball.

11. M.A.S.H Game.

12. Making Cootie Catchers/Fortune Tellers.

13. Full House

14. Heads Up 7 Up

15. Being able to finsih the lyrics: “In West Philadelphia born and raised”
