Watching TV shows on Netflix can be fun, but if you’re like me sometimes you don’t want to commit to watching an entire show. That’s why I like to pretend I’m not procrastinating by watching hours of YouTube videos instead…Anyway, here are some YouTubers that make entertaining videos (that aren’t Buzzfeed).
1. Dan Howell & Phil Lester
If you like funny stories, are kind of awkward, are prone to existential crises, and are fluent in sarcasm; you’ll probably like Dan’s channel, danisnotonfire. As for Phil (aka AmazingPhil), be prepared to ask questions like, “What’s with all the houseplants?” and “How do you attract such strange people?” They also have a joint gaming channel called DanAndPhilGAMES (Which is why I lumped them together) These two are even more hilarious together, and even went on a tour around the world with their live stage show.

2. IISuperwomanII
Lilly Singh, aka IISuperwomanII, makes videos that are super funny and relatable (See what I did there? “super funny”… no… ok never mind) She’s also just an inspiring person. She recently partnered with ME to WE to help girls in Kenya gain access to primary education (Here’s a link to her video about that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKG7GJHszKc) The partnership was a part of her #GirlLove campaign that aims to end girl-on-girl hate and empower women. I think that’s pretty freakin’ cool.

3. Good Mythical Morning
If you’ve ever wanted to know if taco seasoning works as a tea, Rhett & Link have you covered and are here to answer all the questions you didn’t know you had.

4. ElleoftheMills
I first started watching Elle Mills when my friend sent me her video “If The Walking Dead Were a Romantic Comedy”. She has a lot of fun videos & trailers like this, so if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like if Regina George went to the same school as Troy Bolton you should check out her videos.

5. Thomas Sanders
Thomas was originally a Vine star, so you’ve probably seen at least one of his six second videos floating around on social media. Now that Vine is no longer a thing, he has migrated to YouTube and still makes funny and relatable videos (Like this recent one where he made a soundtrack for his life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gjH9jd41Cw)

6. Simone Giertz
Simone Giertz is known as the “queen of shitty robots” and makes videos that show her hilarious creations, which have included things like a robot that serves beer for you and a vegetable chopping machine.

7. KickthePJ
This guy calls his viewers ‘tiny planet explorers’ and watching some of his videos is actually kind of like going to another planet- it’s really colorful, fun, and you’re not always 100% sure what’s going on but you kind of like it. That’s been my experience at least.

8. Doddleoddle
If you’d rather just listen to nice songs on YouTube, Dodie’s channel is for you. She does a lot of covers of popular songs, but also has many original songs. Also she’s on Spotify as just “dodie” if you want a preview of her music.

9. MyHarto
Drunk cooking and puns- I mean, what more do you want from YouTube?

10. TomSka
And lastly, if you have a slightly darker sense of humor and appreciate sarcasm you might like TomSka’s sketches.

And that’s it! Good luck getting out of your endless loop of procrastination and I’m sure this list didn’t help.
