With the fast approach of summer, most kids want to study and make decent grades. However, a good couple of us just do not want to do anything related to school. With that in mind, I felt compelled to make a small list of anime to binge while—you know—avoid all responsibility. So, without too much delay, here are my recommendations! Â
Disclaimer: The anime here are of my own personal choosing.  Â
1.Pop Team Epic
This anime is something else, I can say that for sure. Not only was I laughing throughout the whole anime, but I was also creeped out. If you like d a n k m e m e s then this is the anime for you. There is also some really nice animation in this anime.
Summary provided from Crunchyroll.com: Crude, rude, and a little…cute? Get ready for the larger-than-life attitude of Popuko and Pipimi, the small and tall stars of Pop Team Epic! Based off the bizarre four-panel webcomic by Bukubu Okawa comes a comedy that’ll throw you off with its out-there jokes and intense absurdity. You think you’re ready for these girls? Think again, F#%**er!

2.The Ancient Magus’ Bride
Talk about an emotional roller coaster filled with wonderful writing, and character development, with a slow-burn romance. It is a fantasy, romance, action-filled, drama that will hook you with the storytelling and leave you wanting more. The only downside is that in the second half of the anime, a lot of things feel a bit rushed, but that doesn’t stop it from having a nice ending which could lead to another season hopefully.
Summary from Crunchyroll.com: Hatori Chise has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Far from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls. Just when all hope seems lost, a fateful encounter awaits her. When a man with the head of a beast, wielding strange powers, obtains her through a slave auction, Chise’s life will never be the same again. The man is a “magus,” a sorcerer of great power, who decides to free Chise from the bonds of captivity. The magus then makes a bold statement: Chise will become his apprentice–and his bride!

3.Citrus
This recently released anime, complete with 12 episodes, has been all my friends have been talking to me about.  I think what worked really well for anime is that the two love interests are vastly different but fall for each other regardless of the stigma. Though I am still a bit creeped out that main characters are step-siblings, along with (to be) lovers, it is a great anime.
Summary from Crunchyroll.com: Yuzu, a high school gyaru who hasn’t experienced her first love yet, transfers to an all-girls school after her mother remarries. She’s beyond upset that she can’t land a boyfriend at her new school. Then, on her first day, she meets the beautiful black-haired student council president Mei in the worst way possible. What’s more, she later finds out that Mei is her new step-sister, and they’ll be living under the same roof! And so the love affair between two polar opposite high school girls who find themselves drawn to one another begins!

4.How to Keep a Mummy
There is only one word to describe this anime: CUUUUUTTTTTTEEEEEE!!!! This is such a cute anime and it’s literally so fluffy that I want to cry, and it always cheers me up. There’s really not a lot for me to say on this, so here is the summary.
Summary from Crunchroll.com: Kashiwagi Sora is living a normal high school student life, when his “adventurer” father sends him a mummy from his travels in Egypt! Sora balks at the letter from his crazy dad (“I found a cool mummy, so I decided to leave it with you, son!”) at first, but the mummy that emerges from inside the huge coffin is a mere 12 centimeters tall–small enough to fit in the palm of his hand… Not only that, it’s shy, a crybaby, and most of all, heckin’ cute. And so, Sora and ends up keeping the mummy, naming his new little buddy “Mii-kun.” But living with a mummy might be easier said than done…!
