I love going on YouTube. It’s often one of my favorite pastimes when I’m not busy. There is such a variety of content on the platform that there really is something for everyone. Lately, I have been needing a bit more cheering up so I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite YouTube channels that help do that.
- Jenna Marbles
-
Now I don’t know who you are if you haven’t seen at least one of her videos, but they’re always entertaining as hell and put me in a better mood. Whether it’s Julien being an extreme Aires or Kermit whining for 5 minutes straight for no reason her videos never cease to make me laugh.
- Tati
-
If you are into more of the makeup side of YouTube Tati Westbrook/glamlifeguru is one of my favorites. She has one of the most calming voices on YouTube and I feel that it can be quite de-stressing to just focus on something as simple as makeup. You’re also able to share a love of makeup with someone who loves it as much as you.
- Twosetviolin
-
This channel is made up of the duo Eddy Chen and Brett Yang who are two very funny violin players. On their channel, they usually play games, do comedy sketches, funny reviews and many more. I am majoring in music, but I do not personally play the violin, though I am still able to enjoy their comedy despite it.
- Bestdressed
-
Ashley the creator of Bestdressed is mostly a fashion related channel. Like with the previous channel, I personally do not pride myself in being the most fashion-forward dresser out there but I still enjoy a lot of the content. I find myself coming back to her channel mostly because of her funny and awkward personality that I think everyone can kinda relate to and, if nothing else, everything she does is just so aesthetic.
I know that life can be really stressful sometimes, so I like to watch these channels to escape from my woes for a little while. I hope that y’all too will find a little joy through these channels.
