It’s finally over! No more classes, no more stress, and all the time in the world! If you’re in need of some road trip ideas, here are some places in Texas that are bound to make your summer an exciting one:

  1. San Antonio

San Antonio is full of fun things to do! You can ride a riverboat and have dinner on the riverside. You can eat the famous 3-pound cinnamon roll at Lulu’s Cafe, see the Alamo, and even go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

2.) The Guadalupe and Comal Rivers (New Braunfels, TX)

These places make for a fun weekend trip! You can camp by the Guadalupe River and jump in whenever you please. The Comal river is more family-friendly, however it is still a very fun float. These spots are the perfect way to spend a few hours with friends on a hot summer day.

3.) Schlitterbahn (New Braunfels)

This is by far one of the best waterparks you will ever experience! The park is huge and has lazy river rides instead of typical water slides and pools. The rivers are exciting and fun, and you also get to float next to the Comal river on one of the rides!

4.) Inner Space Cavern

These caves date back to prehistoric times and contain many preserved items, but they are best known for their amazing preservation.

5.) Galveston

Galveston has so many things to do –  like riding the rides on Pleasure Pier, hanging out on the beach, and going to Moody Gardens. You can eat amazing seafood at Bubba Gump’s and visit the multitude of gift shops on the beach!
