Everyone needs to eat. College towns are typically filled with unique restaurants and little shops. Â Nacogdoches is no different. Here are a few of my personal favorite places to eat in Nacogdoches.

Dolli’s Diner
Located at 116 S. Pecan Street
Dolli’s Diner has to be my #1 place to eat in Nac. Classic diner food surrounded by Nacogdoches artwork with all day breakfast! After my ring dip last year, I brought my entire family to Dolli’s where we had the best burgers in town and my friend’s and I love having their Lumberjack breakfast with delicious pancakes and home fries. Be sure to save some room for one of their shakes or malts!

Clear Springs
Located at 211 Old Tyler Rd. Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Pickles, Gumbo and so much more come from the Clear Springs restaurant serving country style favorites for everyone to enjoy. The warehouse style building gives you a feeling of comfort from the moment you step in the building. It is also conveniently located next to my next choice!
Sun-Thur 11am-9pm
Fri & Sat 11am-10pm
Auntie Pasta’s
Located at 211 Old Tyler Road
Fine Italian food located in a historical building is the perfect for a nice romantic date or a nice girl’s night out. Italian margarita’s and build-your-own pasta dishes are just what you need to celebrate getting that A on your presentation or even when you need a break from studying and want to treat yourself.
Sun-Thur 11am-9pm Fri & Sat 11am-10pm
Blue Horse Bakery
Located at 112 N Church St
For a nice sweet at the end of your day, I would recommend the Blue Horse Bakery. Along with making custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies for parties and events, Blue Horse Bakery has a quaint little sitting area to eat and divulge in some delicious cupcakes and sweets. Grab a coffee and a cupcake and just sit and relax!

Our historic town of Nacogdoches is full of fun antique shops, amazing little restaurants and so much more. Having been here for my four years of college, I have had the opportunity to shop around and find the places that I enjoy the most.
Come to Nac and see what the oldest town in Texas has to offer!
