Love is in the air! Valentine’s day is a special day to show your appreciation to your loved ones. All the restaurants are probably booked up, and it might be stressful trying to find the perfect romantic gesture. Cooking for your significant other can be more thoughtful than taking them out to a fancy restaurant. It could also be cheaper! Regardless if you have the whole day together or just a part of it, there’s always a time to treat your sweetie!

Breakfast

Meat Option: Monte Cristo Benedict. As one commenter puts it: “”Imagine the best French toast you’ve ever had, combined with the best ham and cheese sandwich you’ve ever had, topped with perfectly poached eggs.”

Vegetarian Option: Red Velvet Pancakes with Cream Cheese Glaze. Anything red velvet is always a very ~romantic~ valentine’s day treat.

Vegan Option: Apple-Almond Butter Pancakes. This meal can easier be transformed into gluten-free meal by using gluten-free flour.

Lunch

Meat Option: Oysters Rockefellers. What is it about seafood that makes it so romantic?

Vegetarian Option: Stuffed Artichoke Hearts. While you stuff your SO’s heart with looooooove.

Vegan Option: Porcini and Pecan Pâté. It took me two tries to pronounce this, so it must be good.

Dinner

Meat Option: Baked Lobster Tails. Again : Seafood = romance.

Vegetarian Option: Swiss Cheese Fondue. You’ll be cheesin’ all day over your SO’s smile.

Vegan Option: Garlic & White Wine Pasta With Brussel Sprouts. Sounds classy, taste amazing,

Desserts

Meat Option: Is there really a meal option for dessert? I searched the internet, high and low, and nothing showed up… but if you find something, let me know!

Vegetarian Option: Chocolate Covered Strawberries 4 Ways. This is a classic you can’t go wrong with.

Vegan Option: Cheesecake! This recipe gives you the option of choosing either blueberry, caravel, or peanut butter cheesecake and they all sound delicious.
