How to Hide From the Flu

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Siena chapter.

1. Shower in warm water!

2. Stock up on hand sanitary!

I use an excessive amount of Bath and Body Work’s Pocketbac Sanitizing Hand Gel’s. My favorite one is Donuts For You. One time when I was working, a man actually told me that I smelt like candy…sweet but creepy! They’re really cheap ($1.75 for one or $5 for 5), so definitely stock up!

3. Cover your mouth!

It’s important to protect others from your nasty sickness, just as it is important to protect yourself!

4. Take vitamin C!

I eat three of the L’il Critters Gummies…they’re for kids but they’re the best thing ever. They’re sweet and taste like candy.

5. Drink enough fluids!

Drink orange juice, cranberry, and water.

6. Exercise!

CNN actually found research that shows that moderate amounts of aerobic exercise such as jogging, brisk walking, and cycling during the cold and flu season boosts the body’s defenses against viruses and bacteria.

7. Sleep in!

It’s an excuse to stay in your warm bed for another 5 minutes!
