Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Getting to dress up, hang out with friends, and eat candy all day guarantees a good time.
Unlike the past few years, this Halloween is on a weekday, more specifically MONDAY! Since most people will have to resume life’s responsibilities after the weekend, Halloween this year will most likely be more laid back.
I’ll be giving you some ideas that would help make this Halloween more fun! You can do these activities by yourself, with a significant other, friends, family, and whoever you want!
- Bake and decorate Halloween themed treats
I love baking and I think it would be so fun to decorate baked Halloween-themed goods . You could make brownies, cookies, cupcakes, caramel apples and so much more! They could be decorated to look like a mummy, Frankenstein, a pumpkin, a spiderweb, or whatever Halloween decorations you desire!Â
- Have a “BYOB” (Bring your own board) night but Halloween edition
Whenever I see people throw a food board night with their friends, it always seems like such a good time and everything looks delicious.
Making every food board Halloween-themed would be such a fun activity for Halloween! Everyone could bring a board with a different Halloween color or character, which would be so fun and so yummy!Â
- Go to a pumpkin patch and carve/paint pumpkins
Going to a local pumpkin patch on Halloween would be so fun.You can even wear your costume and take pictures! Taking pumpkins home to either paint or carve would be a fun Halloween decoration for people to see!Â
- Paint Halloween canvases
Painting is always a good time, but painting Halloween-themed canvases would be such an enjoyable experience. You could set up a picnic or just hang out at your house with some loved ones. You could also watch a movie or show while painting and eat some Halloween treats!Â
- Watch your favorite show’s Halloween episodes
One of my favorite things to do when any holiday comes around is to watch holiday episodes of my favorite television shows. Several television shows did episodes for Halloween such as “Friends”, “Modern Family”, “Glee”, “How I met your Mother”, “The Simpsons”, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, “Bob’s Burgers” and so many more! These episodes are bound to get you in the Halloween spirit and possibly even give you future costume ideas.Â
- Go to a corn maze or haunted house
Another activity that could be fun to do this Halloween is to go find a local corn maze or haunted house to go to with friends or loved ones.
This would be so much fun and you would be able to make so many fun Halloween memories! If you enjoy being scared, a haunted house would be the perfect place to spend your Halloween.Â
I hope that you found these activities helpful when it comes to deciding how to spend your Halloween.
