Well darlings… we can’t fight it anymore. Summer is officially gone and fall is here to stay. However, that’s no reason to pout! Fall means sweater weather, adorable boots, leaves changing, and of course, new make up. Summer is definitely the season of very minimal makeup, but during the Fall, I personally love to spice it up. For me, this means bold lip colors, glossy liner, and flawless skin (oh and maybe just a little bit of glitter!). Here are five fall-approved beauty products that I highly suggest show up in your makeup bags soon:
1. The Flawless Base – BB creams are perfect for fall because they’re so lightweight but still provide flawless coverage. My favorite one of the moment is the Marcelle Golden Glow BB Cream because it enhances any skintone and gives us all that, “I’m still tan from summer” glow. BB creams also have a ton of skin-loving ingredients in them so not only are they covering up unwanted imperfections, but they’re also helping to improve your skin. I ask you, what’s better than that?
2. The No-fail Liquid Liner – I don’t know about all of you, but in the summertime, liquid liner was rarely a part of my beauty routine. I think it can tend to look too harsh in the summer months unless it’s applied very minimally. That being said, I absolutely adore it for fall. This Magic Marker Precision Pen by Marc Jacobs is worth every penny because of how precise and pigmented it is. It makes creating that perfect wing as simple as writing your name. Cat eyes for fall look dramatically amazing on everyone – the first step is getting yourself a fool proof liquid liner like this one.
3. The Stay All Day Bold Lip – Ask me what my all-time favorite makeup trend for fall is and I will tell you a fierce bold lip. Nothing says, “I’ve got sexy confidence like Beyonce” more than rocking a bold lip color. My favorite lip colors for fall are most definitely deep reds and plums. This Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick is incredible – it’s pigment and lasting power is seriously unbeatable. There are also gorgeous shades for fall such as Fiery (a deep red) and Aria (a magenta plum). 4. GLITTER – I’m one of those people that believes glitter makes everything prettier! If applied in the right way (I mean let’s not go too crazy) glitter can look stunning on everyone. I wouldn’t suggest wearing glittery shadow for daytime during the fall, but it adds the perfect touch of glam for nights out. Gold glitter is definitely my favorite shade for fall and is universally flattering on everyone.
5. The Berry-Stained Cheek – Since it’s Fall, I usually stray away from the brighter summery blush colors like pink. Fall is the loveliest time to bring out the berry purple-toned shades such as this Tarte Cheek Stain in the shade Flush. It’s a gorgeous gel-based stain that blends like a dream and lasts for hours. It’s also a great on-the-go product that you can throw in your bag for later.
