To everyone’s surprise, Beyoncé has just released her fifth solo album last night. Her self titled album is packed with songs and is considered a “visual-album” with videos. Every single song on the album has a video with it as well. Beyoncé said she did this because every song she hears she links it to visuals and she wanted to do this for her fans. This album is slightly different from what were used to from Bey, she has somewhat of a new sound. It’s worth taking a listen to ease your stress from finals. And who said finals week was miserable? Studying to Beyoncé’s new album can make things much better.
The album is only available on iTunes, and you can’t purchase individual songs or videos. However, why wouldn’t you want the whole thing? Beyoncé teams up with her husband Jay-Z for a song called “Drunk In Love”. Drake is also featured on the album, even her little girl Blue Ivy makes an appearance on a song called “Blue” written about her. The album is expected to be exclusively on iTunes until December 21. So how did Bey pull this off? For someone so famous no one had any idea. Just another reason why Bey truly is the Queen. It’s never too late to add her new album to your Christmas list.
