Breast Cancer Awareness Style

Everyone knows that National Breast Cancer Awareness month is October, however this week at SJU it is “Think Pink” week! That means showing your support for breast cancer by wearing of course, PINK! However, wearing pink is not all you can do benefit breast cancer research. I have scoped out some amazing finds that are not only super fashionable, but benefit breast cancer awareness and research too! Take a look:

Ann Taylor Loft Jewelry: Inspired by Giuliana Rancic, a survivor herself, jewelry designer Suzanna Dali (G’s favorite!) created a collection for Ann Taylor Loft to help spread sparkle, awareness and support. 60% of the purchase price is donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Dick’s Sporting Goods: Depending on the manufacturer, various companies will donate different amounts to their partner, the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Nordstrom: As part of the Nordstrom Fits America campaign, the high-end retailer provides complimentary bra fittings from certified experts for women nationwide. Nordstrom will also donate $1 of every bra purchase at fittings, with participating bra manufacturers also pitching in $1 for Breast Cancer Research. Alex and Ani: This bangle, The Arms of Strength bangle is a Charity by Design bracelet, meaning that throughout the month of October, 20% of all Alex and Ani sales for this bangle will support the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, a Rhode Island non-profit that works to spread awareness, education, resources and hope in the fight against breast cancer. Adorable and the hint of pink reminds you how important it is to have hope.

Ulta Beauty Supply: Ulta has several amazing ways you can donate to breast cancer research:

1.    Buy A kiss for $1.00 and have Ulta hang your kiss in the store window. Profits go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

2.    Contribute $5.00- you will receive your choice of a compact mirror or bangle bracelet, and 50% will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
