Vogue and Elle told us stripes were for Spring 2013, but Her Campus SJU is convinced this autumn is all about stripes. We found three hawk women who are rocking out with their stripes out. Take a look:
Caroline Auffenberg: With a J.Crew addiction, Caroline Auffenberg knows her patterns. Every season she is ready to wear pastels and prints. This fall, her print is stripes and she knows how it to rock it. Below Caroline is wearing the toothpick jean in stripe. These jeans are perfect for spring, however, the kelly green and navy mixture work perfect for September through November. Since we’ve had a pretty warm start to fall, Caroline paired these jeans with her Tori Burch sandals. Her chambray shirt and wrist candy work perfectly to complete the outfit.Â
Carolyn Mullen:Â Known to SJU for her statement necklaces, Carolyn is adding stripes to accentuate her favorite accesory. Picture below, Carolyn is wearing a stripped bright blue blazer. Matched perfectly with pink, Carolyn is ready to take on those brisk fall mornings while still looking professional, flirty, and fun. Skirts, jeans, or shorts work perfectly with this cotton blazer.Â
Â
Kelly Monahan:Â As a sophomore here at SJU, Kelly’s days are packed with classes, homework, and extra curriculars. To keep comfortable but still look fabulous, Kelly sports her quarter length sleeve J. Crew cotton t-shirt. The t-shirt works perfectly with light wash jeans or shorts. As fall approaches, this quarter stripped tee is perfect for walking to class early in the morning and then still feeling comfortable in the warmer afternoons. Kelly’s flip flops and studs work perfect with this stripped classic.
Â
So ladies, pull out your stripes because we are making it official: Stripes are back and better than ever!Â
