Kim and Kanye Get Engaged

Kim and Kanye are one of  America’s most popular couples, and the Kardashians sure know how to keep everyone talking- Khloe and Lamar and his stint in rehab, Bruce and Kris Jenner’s alleged separation, but finally now some happy news!! Kim and her rapper boyfriend, Kanye West are engaged! Kanye popped the question at San Fran’s AT &T park, which he rented out for the special occasion! How Sweet!

 The word is that Kanye OK’d his plan with and asked Kris Jenner for permission before he popped the question. He got down on one knee and asked him for her hand in marriage with a Lorraine Schwartz 15 carat ring. Holy Diamonds! 

Behind Kanye (33), the Jumbo screen flashed “”PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” Then after she accepted, a 50 piece orchestra played Lana Del Ray’s “Young & Beautiful” followed by “Knock you Down” featuring Kanye himself. What a wonderful surprise on Kim’s birthday (she turned 33 the same day!) Candles and fireworks exploded into the air after Kim accepted the proposal. The stadium was empty, until after Kim said yes, when family and friends poured from the dugouts at the San Francisco Giants stadium.

Baby North (the couples four month old daughter) was not present for the proposal, but was in San Fransisco. Kim was clad in a cream and blue Valentino dress as she flashed her new sparkler for family and friends. News hit pretty quickly (it happened last night!) and pals like Brittny Gastineau, the Eye on Glam blogger instagrammed photos of the couple, and Kim’s gorgeous ring. Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian all shared the exciting news via Instagram with captions like “she said yes!” and “best night EVER!” Even Kim herself posted a picture of her beautiful ring earlier this morning in front of the stadium in black and white, with the caption “YES!!!” Khloe Kardashian Odom tweeted her excitement saying “Tears of JOY!!!!! WOW!!!!” and “Wow!!! Am I dreaming?!?!?!” Kris Jenner also instagrammed a selfie of herself and Larry Baer, the chief executive officer of the San Francisco Giants, who helped pull off the proposal saying “Thank you for an amazing night Larry Baer….GRAND SLAM!!!!!!!!!!!” Indeed it is! We wish Kim and Kanye luck on their road down the aisle and hopefully it lasts more than 72 days… I’m betting it will!
