Crimea votes to succeed from Ukraine
Last Sunday an overwhelming majority of Crimeans voted to secede from Ukraine and to join Russia. Approximately 95% of the votes were in favor of joining Russia. President Vladimir Putin of Russia expressed to president Obama that the vote was legal and should be accepted by Western leaders. However, Western leaders say that this vote is illegal and they plan to punish with economic sanctions. The White House said that Russia’s actions were in violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territory.

App maker to bring back Flappy Bird
Flappy Bird may be coming back to Apple’s App Store according to the Twitter account of the game’s creator, Dong Nguyen. In response to a tweet asking if the game would ever be available for download again Nguyen said “Yes. But not soon.” However, Apple’s rules state that the creator of a game gives up his rights to the name of the game when they delete it from the app store. Since Nguyen deleted the game Mobile Media Partners quickly took the name and now have a pending trademark for it. There is speculation that Apple may bend the rule for this extremely popular game.
