Most of you have heard about what has been going on at Saint Joseph’s these past few weeks. On February 27 during free period, students wanted administration to know how much they love the university and what SJU stands for and the sense of community. Students protested outside of McShain during the Administration Board’s meeting. During the protest three students read letters for the administration. For the most part professors were the ones taking pictures at the protest. Some students and faulty wanted to share how they felt about what was going on:
“There so much going on that we do not hear about until a few days ago and I think it’s important that the faculty and students are taking a stand

“I think it’s important that we as student know what is going on, and the fact that it is I love SJU day it is important to show how much we as students care about our university. We love this university and want the administration to hear us”

“This is the Magis right here and now, social justice. The fact that these students are taking a stand for what they believe in shows exactly what we stand for. I am so proud of what us going on today and am a very happy professor”
