This Saturday (March 6) the Skidmore Orchestra performed with guest Musical Director Charles Schneider of the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra. The performance featured Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony as well as a Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait.”
Located in the new Zankel Music Hall, the performance welcomed students for free as well as the general public (small fee). One member of the audience described the Skidmore musicians as a “very impressive orchestra.” They received a warm applaud with standing ovation.
