There will never be enough words.

There will never be enough words for the woman spit on as the cause of the pandemic.

There will never be enough words for the woman gunned down in her own home.

There will never be enough words for the woman whose pronouns are not respected.

There will never be enough words for the woman called a terrorist for the clothing she wears.

There will never be enough words for the woman who is separated from her child at the border.

There will never be enough words for the woman who is terrified to walk home alone.

There will never be enough words for our women.

So let us stop using words.

Let us stop victim blaming,

Cat-calling,

Sympathizing with the perpetrator,

Speaking up over the voices of our women.

Let us stop only saying sorry,

Stop giving only prayers,

Stop invalidating the experiences of our women.

There will never be enough words.

So stop using your words,

And start using your actions.

It is time to educate,

Reach out,

Support,

Change.

It is time to listen.

It is time to listen to the marginalized voices,

Listen to BIPOC voices,

Listen to LGBTQIA+ voices

Listen to women’s voices.

There will never be enough words,

But one day there will be enough actions.
