Half top knots
Topknots, similar to the messy bun, are convenient ways to put little effort in your hair and still look amazing. Surprisingly enough, even with shorter hair they’re still easy to do and even cuter to wear! To achieve this look, section your hair into halves, then tie the upper half of the hair at the crown into a high ponytail. Wrap the ponytail into a tight knot and secure with bobby pins. Once the topknot is secure, pouf the knot out a bit to pouf it out and loosen it up for a messy, edgier look.

Twisted ends
Are you growing out your short hair? And are your bangs growing out and getting in the way? Well, this next look can fix your sorrows. Take your hair with its natural part and grab one-to-two inch sections of your hair (normally where the shortest bangs are) and twist both ends tightly. Next, leave about ½ inch section at the end untouched; you will take both twisted ends and cross them at the back of your head to create a woven look. Secure strands with bobby pins, loosening tighter sections for a more ethereal look.

Half up ponytail
Do you love Ariana Grande’s signature high half-ponytail but don’t have long locks to create it? Fear not, this short how-to will turn your hair into a chic style just like Ari’s in minutes. Section of your hair, pulling back the very top half and tying it back with an elastic to hold. Next, take the sides of your hair and add to the ponytail, taking off the elastic to re-tie it. Use a dab of pomade or mousse to slick back any wispy strands before re-tying and tightening the half-ponytail with an elastic. Smooth back any remaining stray hairs.
