Red-hot Valentine’s Day date spots for every stage of your relationship

Valentine’s Day commemorates all couples’ love for one another- it is the holiday where no expense is spared and romance wafts through the air on Feb. 14. But what can be troubling is ensuring this magical holiday goes according to plan- in addition to a perfect gift, one must also coordinate a date to go along with it. 

For couples that have just started dating or are newlyweds, here’s a list of date ideas for Valentine’s Day:

New couples: For couples that are just getting to know each other, a simple, no pressure date is ideal. From having a picnic in the park, to taking a hike or attending a concert outdoors, fun, adventurous activities are key to making a memorable Valentine’s Day without being too serious too fast.

Semi-serious: For couples who have survived a few Valentine’s Day dates together and come out unscathed, the pressure is on to continue a good streak. Thinking of unique date ideas can be strenuous- that is exactly why taking it old school comes in handy. At Galaxy Drive-In Theatre, they bring back the 50s in the best way possible. American classics played on a giant projector while couples cuddle under mountains of pillows and blankets will definitely make this Valentine’s Day one to remember.

Basically married: For the relationship experts who excel at the art of gift giving, date planning and cuddling and deserve to treat themselves. While this idea may seem clichĂ©, one reason the classic upscale dinner and dessert date remains on the go-to date list is because good food, drinks and most importantly, good company will never go out of style. From Morton’s Steakhouse, Hotel ZaZa, Sambuca and more in Dallas, you and your soulmate will eat well and live in love.
