Call of the Ocean
Sweat drops come alive on her hand
Droplets of the rain hit gently towards the sand
Leaving the land and heading to the sea
Her time was over and she must leave
“Come to me” the ocean cries
Watching the waves crash in front of her eyes
Waves reaching closer and closer to her feet
She realizes the moment of defeat
Last marks of her footprints leave a trail
Her body moves becoming pale and stale
She closes her eyes and ready to embrace
She goes in the water and finds her place
