Amber Toomey is a junior here at Sonoma State and she grew up in Sacramento, Ca. She is majoring in music and is involved in many ogranizations on campus. Let’s get to know her a little better!
Her Campus: What are you career goals?
Amber Toomey: I would like to be a music teacher
HC:Â Dream Job?
AT: I like REALLLLY wanted to be a Nascar drive. I was a very ambitious child.
HC: How is it being music major? Â
AT: It is a lot of fun! I get to play instruments all day long. All of us music majors are just one big happy family. It can defineitly be stressful at times because there is a lot to know as a music major and I always have to practice.
HC:Â What clubs/ organizations are you involved with on campus?
AT: I am in Lambda Kappa Pi, the local sorority on campus and I sing in the SSU choir.
HC:Â Favorite memory at SSU?
AT: One time Amanda Klien, Brooke B.. and I grabbed a bunch of cardboard and tried to slide down the hill by international hall. It failed and we basically all fell on our faces. It was a total failure but it made for a great memory. Â
HC:Â What is one of your addictions? Â
AT: Without a doubt it’s Dutch Bros. I typically find myself there at least 3 times a week. It’s so bad!:HCLIf you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?: I would go to where my family is from in Luca. Luca is a small city in Italy. I want to see my families heritage and if we have any history there
HC:Â How is it being music major? Â
