HC: Do you know what you want to do after graduation?

Yes! I still have another year at SSU, but I want to go onto graduate school and receive my masters in Higher Education so that I can continue my passion in the field of student affairs on college campuses! I really enjoy the connections with students.

HC: What made you want to get involved?

I knew coming into school that your college experience is about more than just doing well academically. It is what you decide to do with your time outside of your academics that ultimately shape your college experience. I wanted to find my niche, my place, my new home.

HC: What’s your favorite part about being a CSA?

It might sound silly, but my favorite part is when residents come talk to me about things they are doing that make them happy. It is so awesome seeing smiles on their faces when they are genuinely psyched about what they do!

HC: What do you like to do outside of school and being a CSA?

Does eating count? I love to eat. Thai food is my guilty pleasure. I love getting outdoors and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy meditation and yoga :) I love connecting with the earth.

HC: Soo Vagina Monologues opening night is on Feb 24?! What can you say about the show?

Attend the show! It is such a great experience for everyone, not just women. You’ll laugh, maybe even cry, but most of all you will learn. The cast has been working extensively for y’all, but we are psyched!

HC: What words of wisdom would you bestow onto underclassmen who want to get involved?

DO IT! It is super easy to get involved. You are going to be here for a good portion of your young adult years, so live it up! Step outside of your comfort zone and join something that interests you. The hardest part is making the decision to join something. I met my best friends from getting involved my freshmen year. It is hard to even put it into words how thankful I am for that every day.
