For some people, there just is not enough time in the world… to get ready that is. Sometimes the motivation isn’t there to be a go-getter and be on time. Those who have to wait on ~the late friend~ think they have it bad… just trust that ~the late friend~ knows the struggle
1. Waking up to ten messages that read “are you otw?” or “be there in 5.”
Sometimes we just need a few more minutes than everyone else to get ready. We all have our faults, ours just happens to be time management.
2. The daily decision between showering and looking socially acceptable, or being only a few minutes late and dressed like a bum.
If we don’t shower the night before, odds are we’re going to be late because we HAVE to shower. But consider it like this, would you rather be around someone gross and smelly or someone who held you up 45 minutes that looks and smells AH-mazing? Easy decision there.
3. Walking into class 15 minutes late and realizing the only seat left is in the middle.
Come on y’all! Start from the middle of the row and sit out from there. It’ll do us all a favor.
4. Dressing cute is TOTALLY out of the question unless the plan is to be ~fashionably late~.
There are just too many outfits to choose from. The bed will be a pile of clothes and we’ll be an hour late, but hey at least we’ll look cute.
5. Having to sit in the front of the Uber.
Sitting in the passenger seat talking to the Uber driver just isn’t as fun as being in the back with all your friends.Â
6. ALWAYS missing happy hour because “We have enough time.”
We always leave the house 20 minutes until happy hour is over because we can make it…except for the traffic, the line and the wait…
7. Trying to set alarms for early to “trick yourself” but they NEVER work.
Try telling yourself water isn’t wet and the sun isn’t bright. That’s how we feel when we set alarms way earlier.Â
8. Accepting you’re always late and always will be.Â
Exactly. Am I always late or are you always early?
We may always be late, but at least we’re always consistent! And don’t you enjoy the rush not knowing if we’ll EVER make our plans?!
