Calling all ladies who have been cheated on, have been hurt in a relationship, or who just love Beyoncé: you need to go listen to “Lemonade” right now.
Lemonade is Beyoncé’s surprise album that just dropped this past Saturday, and it is FIRE. The whole album is basically Queen B absolutely slaying Jay-Z for cheating accusations. First off, who in their right mind would ever cheat on THE Beyoncé?
The album is only available on Tidal, which is Jay-Z’s personal streaming website (ha, slap in the face). But don’t worry, the website offers a 30-day free trial that you can cancel at any time without paying anything.
And now for the best part: the album is accompanied by an hour-long music video (visual album). You might be thinking to yourself, why would I want to watch this? You want to watch this because it will make you feel emotions you literally have never felt before (if you’re anything like me). I am now even more in love with Beyoncé, and also terrified of her at the same time.
The music video starts off with her being a boss and smashing things, showing her anger and transitioning through songs throwing some major shade at Jay-Z. She even calls out women he slept with who weren’t her. Talk about amazing, right?
