Take a peek into HC writer, Morgan Moseley’s backpack. What’s in yours?

If you’re anything like me, you are probably nosy and wondering what some people carry in their backpacks to classes. Ok, maybe it’s just me. Lugging your backpack around campus is tough as it is already let alone adding the Columbia heat to it. So this is what I carry in my backpack and note that it varies depending on the day and what my classes are!

I have a black North Face Borealis backpack with of course my monogram (are you really from the south if you don’t monogram everything?) and my gamecock button that I love! My backpack has two sections with the largest section having a padded backing for your laptop.

In the small zipper I have some Bath and Body hand sanitizer, Burt’s Bees chap stick, some earphones, gum, keys, extra hair ties and my cell phone (when its not in my hand). The first section I keep my Lilly Pulitzer agenda that is my literal Bible. If you don’t have an agenda I highly recommend getting one, it is a life saver. I also keep my Lilly Pulitzer notebook, Lilly Pulitzer ID case, and my pencil pouch! My pencil case is from Target, and my FAVORITE pens are the Papermate Gel Pens, and I also have a few of the BIC mechanical pencils as well. I also keep little extras like feminine products, my Lilly Pulitzer umbrella (wow do I like Lilly Pulitzer?), my favorite Jadelynn Brooke water bottle, a Tide-To-Go pen, laptop and phone chargers and anything else random.

In the second zippered section is where I keep all my notebooks, textbooks, boring school stuff basically. I organized my classes with notebooks and folders and what day I have those classes. So Monday/Wednesday I have two classes so I carry two Five-Star one subject notebooks and the textbooks needed for those classes. On Tuesday/Thursday I have three classes so I have a Mead three subject notebook and each section is for each class, again carrying the textbooks I need. And finally I carry my laptop, I have a 13 inch MacBook Air and of course I had to decorate it with monograms and stickers.

I’ve tried to only carry the things I need in my backpack to help with the weight and walking around campus in the heat and avoiding looking like a pack mule. So hopefully this gives you some insight on what to carry in your backpack.    Â
