You probably remember seeing this lovely lady in last semester’s King Lear production. The freshman actress is no stranger to hard work when it comes to acting. Her first leading role was in the comedey, Midsummer Night’s Dream, where she potrayed the character Helena. If you have seen one of her performances before, you know how talented she is.
How was your first year of college so far?
It has been pretty excellent. I was in King Lear, which was a very big deal to me. I also made friends pretty fast here. My friends have definitely made my college experience so much better.
What was your bigges take-away from King Lear?
I did not realize that it took so much work to act and become your character in a major production. I still do not feel that I did enough. However, at the same time, I learned when enough is enough when it comes to developing your character. The Southern Miss professors are awesome and supportive. The grad students, and even the undergrads are amazing and talented.
What are some of your favorite things to do on and off campus?
Socializing! That is good! Sometimes, though, I like to be alone and listen to music. It inspires my imagination. I’m a big fan of BBC. I watch Sherlock, Dr. Who, and Merlin.
