The Black Public Relations Student Society – Spelman Chapter in colloboration with Spelman College LEADS Center welcomes Porter Novelli to launch a 7-week long Emerging Public Relations and Communications Professional Program.Â
Spelman College does not offer public relations courses, but one organization–BPRSS-Spelman has worked to provide students with pratical experience and insight on what it means to be a public relations professional. President of BPRSS-Spelman stated that, “While students aren’t offered communications and public relations courses, BPRSS-Spelman wanted to launch a program that gave students a glimpse into an industry, give them real-work experience and ultimately land students an internship.”Â
