Kinkell’s garden was transformed into a funfair for this year’s May Ball, and aside from drinking, dancing and queuing for ice cream, we spent the night on the funfair rides. We made our way from dance floor to funfair and back again, refusing to sit down for even a minute and risk missing out on any of the ball’s magic. Students looked happy and classy in their dresses and suits seconds before being hurled up into the air above Kinkell, embracing the night’s recklessness.
