At the risk of speaking too soon, the last couple of days in St Andrews have begun to feel ever-so-slightly spring-like. Birds are singing, the sun is shining, and I’ve only had to wear two pairs of socks. Although lacking in the excitement of winter with snowmen and Christmas, or long, warm summer days, I think spring is seriously underrated.
1. Firstly, as with most things in life, think of the chocolate. Easter eggs are probably one of the best things ever to be invented (no offence Zuckerberg); large ovals made completely of your favourite chocolate, which you get given from your family every year without having to do anything. Sorry, spring break diet…
2. Spring break; we’ve been back at university for way too long, the word deadline is more and more apt each day, and I can barely remember what it’s like to sleep in past 7.30 am. Two whole weeks off in the sun? Yes please.
3. Summer is on the way! Goodbye jumpers, hello cute dresses. The sun is out and the weather can only get better from here (right?)
4. Lambs. Need I say more? I think this picture is reason enough…
