Why did you transfer?
To be completely honest, I just wanted to go to a bigger school with more variations of people, I wanted to meet more people, and St. Ed’s was great, but sometimes it just didn’t feel like where I was supposed to be.
Are you happy after transferring?
Absolutely, I love UT, and it’s where I’m supposed to be
What are some of the differences?
School size, UT is huge which makes a lot of the dynamics in the classroom and social aspects really different than st eds, and some of the gen Ed requirements are different. (Not better, just different)
Favorite thing about UT?
School pride aka football, my sorority, and the campus is cool
Favorite thing about SEU?
Small classrooms, great student-teacher interactions, beautiful campus.
Least favorite thing about UT?
Sometimes it’s a little to big, and the campus shuttle is annoying sometimes.Â
Least favorite thing about SEU?
It was too small sometimes and tons of smoking on campus.
Why did you initially choose St. Ed’s?
At the time it felt right, and I liked that the campus was so small, and really pretty
What factors went into choosing UT?
My family went there, I prayed about it and God helped point me to it, and I hung out there a lot when I went to SEU.
Lastly, some serious questions.. Fav dessert: Beignets at Epicurie or anything at voodoo donuts Fav mexican food: Matt’s el Rancho, the “Bob” queso is amazing Drink of choice: either margs at Matt’s, or Texas Tea’s at cane and able’s! So good!
We miss you, but so glad you’ve found your home sporting burnt orange with pride!
