When the weather finally starts cooling down, the leaves start changing, and October 1st hits, we know it’s time to get our lineup of fall trends ready. Fall always seems to creep up on us, but luckily I’m here to help you figure out what fall trends are worth trying:
- Burnt orange
There always seems to be a trending color every fall, and this year it’s a beautiful shade of orange. Orange is not a color we typically associate with beauty products, but it’s definitely worth a try. Whether it’s nails or surprisingly enough, even lip gloss, burnt orange looks amazing on every skin tone.Â
- Slicked hair
Slicked hair has been popping up on our beauty radar for a little while now, but it’s the perfect hairstyle to add to any fall outfit. Slicked back hair can effortlessly make you feel like an off duty model, whether it’s a simple ponytail, or a style that may be more complicated, like the slicked back bubble ponytails trending on TikTok. These styles may be a little out of our comfort zones, but they are a great way to elevate a sense of style.
- Colored Claw Clips
The claw clips craze is definitely going to be sticking around for awhile, so we have to get creative. Forget the messy bun because throwing your hair up in a claw clip is another great way to have that lazy day hairstyle and still look put together. They are also much healthier for your hair than hair ties! Claw clips are now available in all colors, patterns, shapes, and sizes, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find the perfect kind for your hair.Â
- Layers
Last fall it was curtain bangs, but many of us are still trying to achieve the voluminous hair that influencers somehow have. From curlers to blowout tutorials, we all know how hard it is to get volume in our hair. Layers are a great way to add volume and shape to your hair, without cutting too much off. They are also a perfect change for the transition of summer to fall.Â
- Heavy Blush
As excited as I am for fall, it’s always sad to see your summer glow fading away. Luckily, we have blush to give us that cute sun kissed look all year round. As you may have seen on TikTok, many influencers apply their blush on the apples of their cheeks and over the center of their nose, the area that usually gets pink from the sun. This application will give you the perfect sun kissed look even in the colder temperatures, and any shade of blush will work!
It’s always a little sad when summer comes to an end and you can feel the cold weather creeping in, but fun fall trends make it all better! I hope you take some inspo, try out some of these beauty trends, and try out some cool looks this fall!Â
