Get ready Saints: finals week is fast approaching! Schedules tend to get pretty hectic, as we’re trying to balance exams, term papers, and presentations all at once. During this busy time, make sure you stock up on all of these exam week essentials to ensure things run as smoothly as possible!
1) Coffee or Tea
Finals week is generally filled with lots of late nights in ODY or the Student Center, so make sure you stock up on coffee or tea to keep yourself alert and focused. Caffeine is your friend in college, but it is your BEST friend throughout the week of exams. If the Pub is closed, there’s a Keurig and vending machine on the first floor of ODY that sells K-Cups and you can bring your own as well!

2) Phone and Laptop Chargers
There’s nothing worse than getting to ODY and realizing that your computer or phone is about to die. Make a checklist before you leave your room of things to bring to your study spot and double check it before you leave!

3) Emergen-C
No one wants to be sick during finals week. The lack of sleep during this busy time unfortunately makes us more prone to getting sick. Stay healthy by stocking up on Emergen-C. It may not taste the best, but the vitamins it provides help boost your immune system, keeping you healthy during this hectic week. If you’re feeling sick at all, make sure Emergen-C is the first thing on your list. You can even get it at the Brewer Bookstore!

Although this may seem counterintuitive, sleep during finals week is extremely important. Even if it’s an hour nap, sleep helps you refocus and power through studying.
6) Healthy Snacks
Eating nutritious snacks and staying hydrated are super easy ways to make sure you’re feeling your best during finals week. Apples, almonds, and granola bars are simple, healthy snacks that’ll save you from getting hungry at the library.
