John is a very hard working and well liked man around campus. Day in and day out he comes in with a great attitude and has undoubtley been able to put a smile on every one of our faces.Â
What gives you energy every morning and every day? It’s who I am! The students feed us with energy. For anyone who doesn’t know, I enjoy the student body and think each one of you is great. I get positive feedback about who I am from various students and teachers, which makes me feel really happy and helps me always have a good attitude.Â
When did you start to work at the pub? I started working in 2005 as a part time employee and then began working full-time in 2006. I love it here!Â
How long did it take you to grow your ponytail? It took me 2 years to grow my ponytail, but when I started working here it was halfway down my back. Â
What is the most exotic food request you have received? Someone ordered a Dr. Feel Good with buffalo sauce and Thousand Island dressing, pretty funkyÂ
If you could add anything to the menu, what would it be? I’d bring back the “Saturday Night Fun Basket” which is chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, deep fried veggies, and a side of fries
What’s your weirdest pub story? A student broke in and tried to make a pizza late night, but unfortunately he couldn’t figure out how turn the pizza oven on and passed out on the ground in the back of the kitchen
What pub food defines you? Steak and Cheese sub with toppings—It’s just more than anyone could ever eatÂ
What is your favorite part about your job? My interaction with the student body, I love running the check-out station and working the day shiftÂ
If you were stranded on an island what pub snack would you bring? Sweet and spicy beef jerky and salt and vinegar potato chipsÂ
If you were a Stewart’s Flavor what would you be? Death By Chocolate
