Believe it or not, spring is here! Even though the ground may be covered in snow, that does not mean we can’t brighten up our day with the latest make-up trends.

This season NEON is in, whether it is a bright splash of color on your eyes or bright and bold lips – the brighter the better. The two hottest colors? Electric blue on the eyes or neon pink on the lips.

Bright red lips are classic and are once again trendy this spring. Pair this shade with bold eyeliner for a dramatic effect, or with natural eyes for clean, polished and effortless look.

Apricot will be big this season as well. It works great as a lip liner and makes a fresh and fun nail color!

As the grunge trend seems to continue (anyone notice the growing number of Timberlands sported around campus?) the smoldering eye will be in this season. Particularly, a copper-colored bronze was used on the runways to create a winged effect.

When it comes to hair, the knot continues to stand out. This season, though, the top-knot has moved down to the nap of the neck and can be sported at the beach or with a clean outfit for a night out.

The next hair trend is a low ponytail defined by two characteristics: it is placed very low and styled very straight. This chic look can take you from day to night effortlessly.

Finally, the rock-and-roll texture is back. This effortless but edgy look will continue to be hot this summer as well!
