Autumn is that glorious time between hot, sticky summer and freezing, I-can’t-stop-shivverrring winter. Break out the apple cider and curl up with a quilt, because from September 22 until December 21, we celebrate the fall season. What is so great about autumn, you ask?

Well, first of all, the clothes are cozy and cute.

Exhibit A: Boots

Take advantage of sweater weather and pair your favorite high-rise boots with a cardigan. Plaids are fabulous in the fall. Experiment with different pattern combinations!

Exhibit B: Scarves

A sweater-knit scarf is a closet staple. Before heading outside into the crisp morning air to grab a cup of coffee, throw on a scarf. Adding this extra layer is an easy way to both keep warm and accessorize an outfit. Match a neutrally colored jacket and scarf with a trendy red lip for a pop of color.

Equipped with the perfect boots and scarf, you are now ready to visit the pumpkin patch! Choose a pumpkin and, while you’re there, try finding your way through the corn maze. No worries, getting lost is part of the fun.

Once you arrive back home from your visit to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, carve your pumpkin and enjoy fall foods.

Fall foods: Pumpkin. Apple. Cinnamon spice. Cider.

Cinnamon + Apple = Apple Cider

Divine cinnamon spice baked goods and treats? Yes, please. What a time to be alive.

Walk across a dirt pathway lined with colorful trees, read a good book, go trick-or-treating (or hand out candy to trick-or-treaters) and watch a game of football (preferably, a Packer game) with your family. Enjoy this autumn season.
