This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St Olaf chapter.

Name: Katie Studer

Year of graduation: 2017

Major/concentration: Spanish and maybe Education or Pre-Law

Relationship status: Single

Favorite place to study: 1st Floor Rolvaag

Favorite food: Chicago deep dish spinach pizza

Favorite movie: Remember the Titans

Hobbies: Hanging out with friends, playing sports, laughing, singing, dancing

What’s your favorite part of St. Olaf so far?: Awesome people and witnessing random acts of kindness

What’s your favorite holiday and why?: Thanksgiving because family and food make a great combination and the weather is always perfect.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring three things with you, what three things would you bring?: If it’s a question of survival, I would bring a plane, pilot, and GPS. My less-lame, non-survival choices would be a piano (so I can try to teach myself), a Bible, and Tina Fey.

If you were a candy, what kind would you be and why?: I would be a bag of M&Ms because they’re versatile. You can eat them alone while you catch up on New Girl, at a wedding sitting at the tables, or watching the Super Bowl at your Aunt Marie’s house.  Also, they last a while- they like to hang out and spend time with you.

Describe yourself in one word: Positive

Call or text?: Texting for small things, but calling for conversations or anything else

What is your ideal date?: Fall, 65 degrees and sunny. Go to a pumpkin patch/apple orchard.  Carve pumpkins and drink apple cider. Have a picnic and throw a frisbee/football around.

Finish this sentence: A girl looks her best when… she’s confident.

Finish this sentence: A guy looks his best when…he’s smiling and/or talking genuinely about something he cares a lot about.

What do you want the ladies of St. Olaf to know?: You are all beautiful and loved!  Build each other up.  Love each other and yourselves!
