I was just doing my semi-annual iTunes browse and stumbled upon a few songs by artists that I thought fell off the face of the Earth. Have a listen and get ready for some new albums coming in the next few months.
Â
1.    CeeLo Green
Kinda thought this man was still sitting in a big, red, rotating chair with a cotton-ball-looking cat on his lap. CeeLo recently released a few songs, âRobin Williams,â âSign of the Times,â and âMusic To My Soul.â The singer seems to have matured and produced some meaningful songs, at least more meaningful than his 2010 hit âF*** You.â All three songs are a part of his new album âHeart Blanche,â set to release on November 13th.
Â
2.    Sara Bareilles
Sara always releases hits, but in between those hits she must hibernate in the arctic tundra or something because sheâs off the radar. She just released a single titled âShe Used To Be Mineâ and I suggest you listen to it if you want a good cry.
Â
3.    Vanessa Carlton
Vanessa is so confusing. If you check out her iTunes, she has released three singles in 2015, âOperator,â âWillows,â and âYoung Heart.â She also has an EP called âBlue Poolâ that has four songs, and in the works is a new album called âLiberman,â expected for October 23rd. Although not very organized, Vanessa is an exceptional artist that I completely forgot about.
Â
4.    JoJo
Iâm sure youâve heard the recent radio hit âWhen Love Hurtsâ in the past few months, but did you realize it was the same artist of the beloved 2004 hit âLeave (Get Out) and 2006 jam âToo Little, Too Lateâ? JoJo is back folks, enjoy it.
Â
5.    Janet Jackson
Janet who???? Thatâs right, the one and only Janet Jackson will be releasing a new album called âUnbreakableâ on October 2nd. Â Jackson hasnât released an album since âDisciplineâ in 2008, so if you were wondering why you donât remember it itâs because you were in middle school and too busy listening to Gwen Stefani. You should give it a listen because she colabs with Missy Elliot and J.Cole in a few songs, and also because she is 49 and cooler than I will ever be.
