If you know me, you know I would wear oversized sweaters everyday of my life if I could, and I practically drink pumpkin coffee like its water. My favorite season is finally upon us: FALL. There is nothing better than pulling out the flannels, sweaters, and boots for the season, and here are 5 trends that I think are going to flood the fashion world this season!
- Chunky Boots
Thick soled chunky boots are being displayed all over stores already, and I have to say, I feel as if I need to buy them. Some are lace up, some are slip on, and they come in all different colors, but I have seen mostly neutral beiges and deep browns. These boots are going to be all over campus this semester in the coming weeks.
- Deep Browns and Forest Greens
I am such a sucker for deep earthy tones, and whether its deep brown booties, or forest green sweaters, I can see these colors being a huge hit this fall. These colors are so versatile, and an absolute staple in any closet this season.
- Blazer Trench Coats
Pinterest has been inundated with so many models and celebrities rocking blazer style tan trench coats with mom jeans and platform sneakers and if anyone else is like me, we have all been searching every store online for this business casual piece. Something about blazers make you feel like such a girl boss, and you will be strutting into class or your internship cozy and in style.
- Corduroy Fabric
I specifically remember as a child my mom would buy me corduroys and they were the coolest trend, until they weren’t. As I started my fall shopping this semester, I am noticing that this textured fabric is making a comeback in all of the latest stores. Sticking with the 90s comeback trends, these corded pieces will make a statement the same way curtain bangs and claw clips did.
- Â Oversized Turtlenecks
Never being a fan of turtlenecks, I was not sad to see this trend go years back, but now they have strangely grown on me as I see them pop up on my screen while shopping for my oversized sweaters. Many companies are complimenting the oversized turtlenecks with balloon sleeves, and I think it is going to catch the eyes of women on all campuses this semester as we get ready for sweater weather.
