It’s that time of year again (No, not Christmas), it’s NCAA’s March Madness and we’re here to keep you updated on all the wins, loses, and surprising upsets. All around the country people fill out brackets and hope to win a little cash off of them. This time can be very stressful as you sit there in front of your TV watching your favorite team take a tumble, and realizing that no team is safe in March. Here, in our opinion, are the Top 5 games for the first and second rounds of the tournament (in no particular order):
# 2 Missouri loses to #15 Norfolk St. In this surprising upset Norfolk St. beat one of the top teams in the country, causing many brackets to go down the drain.
#2 Duke loses to #15 Lehigh. After watching Missouri fall to a #15 seed you think Duke would have known to play their hardest. Duke had not lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament since 2007, so this was a big shocker to people across the nation.
#4 Indiana beat #12 VCU. In this thrilling game both teams battled it out until the end when Indiana had a comeback to finally win the game 63 to 61.
#3 Baylor beats #11 Colorado. Baylor was losing this game until Brady Heslip hit 9 three’s to lead his team to an 80 to 63 victory.
#1 Syracuse beats #16 UNC Nashville. Due to bad officiating Syracuse was able to earn their spot in the second round.
