There is nothing worse than finally getting into the swing of essay writing when hunger strikes! Be prepared and have some study snacks prepared so that you don’t end up procrastinating for too long!! 

Livestrong have created this list of 19 Brain Superfoods, we’ve picked our top 5 that are guaranteed to help you study!

1. Nuts

Grab a bowl of almonds, cashews or walnuts to nibble on while you study! Nuts are a great source of protein and fill you up inbetween meal times too!

2. Avocado on Toast

Avocado is another “Super Food”, sliced avocado on a slice of wholemeal toast is bound to hit the spot! Add some toppings for more flavour, for example; bacon, an egg or tomato!

3. Berry and Banana Smoothie

A berry and banana smoothie is a great snack to have while studying, quick to make and very inexpensive to make at home!!

 

4. Veggie Sticks and Hummus

Another tasty, quick and inexpensive study snack! You can choose to have carrots, cucumber or peppers, cut them into long thin strips and enjoy!

5. Apple Slices with Peanut Butter

Our final favourite snack on the list is apple slices with peanut butter! A tasty snack that is so quick and cheap to prepare as well as giving you an energy boost!
