iPhone 7: What to Expect from a Girl Who’s Undeniably Behind in Technology

Last week Apple released their latest: the iPhone 7. With two new stunning black finishes it’s hard not to want your very own in the latest technology.

I know many iPhone 6S users who are dying to get their hands on the new phone. Believe it or not, I have been using an iPhone 5S for the last three years. Why, you ask? It’s a mix of unfortunate luck and a tale of a family stealing one another’s upgrades. Last Thursday I redeemed my much earned upgrade, in matte black BTW, and here’s what I learned:

1.     The camera quality is PHENOMENAL. Like, wow. For the first time, I’m the one who gets the group photos taken on their phone, because I have the best camera.

2.     The speakers are noticeably louder, compared to an iPhone 6 playing out loud.

3.     You have to get used to the new home screen button. It clicks about half way down as the old one did, which causes newbies (me) to accidentally activate annoying voice controls…

4.     It does in fact come with headphones, but they aren’t the bluetooth ones, they’re the traditional white Apple headphones, except the bottom plugs right into your charging port. It also comes with an adapter for an aux cord, so no worries fellow DJ’s!

5.     As a response to 4., you cannot charge your phone and plug your headphones in at the same time, hashtag RUDE.
