During the 1950’s Pantone was just a printing company, now it has changed the way people see and use color. Pantone has created a universal color matching system used by graphic designers, fashion designer, interior decorators, painters and the like. Each year, Pantone chooses a “color of the year” which majorly influences trends, especially in the fashion world. In 2012 you may have noticed orange hues popping up all over the shelves of stores and on the runway as a result of Pantone naming “tangerine tango” color of the year. This year’s color is: EMERALD GREEN!
