What are some of your hobbies/ interests outside of Suffolk?

I’m going to make myself sound horrifically basic, but I really do combat stress/ enjoy spending working out (preferably Flywheel if I had money to blow) and still navigating my way around new parts of the city I haven’t seen. I also have a weird obsession with libraries and reading for fun so if I actually find the time to do all of those things, I’m a happy gal.

What’s something people might not know about you?

I really like to indoor rock climb! I feel like that’s a weird hobby I don’t get to do enough to actually consider a ‘hobby’ but I used to indoor climb a lot as a kid and became infatuated with it. I also strangely know a lot of information about early Boston history and the American Revolution; I definitely come across way more normal than I really am. I think I’m just a nerd.

What’s a typical day in the life of you?

A typical day in the life for me either rotates from classes to tutoring at the Center for Learning and Academic Success, or from Liberty Mutual to classes. My M-F days usually run from 9am-6/7pm, and then I’ll either go to the gym or do homework, so I’ll get home typically around 8ish. It’s a long day! I owe my success to caffeine and a backpack full of snacks & outfit changes.

Tell us about your internship at Liberty Mutual – what do you do?

Over the summer I was on the Brand Strategy team, but in August I switched groups and work under the Digital Marketing on the Email team – which creates, manages, analyzes and improves emails that can range from transactional emails that inform you about paying a bill to emails about your new Sirius Radio trial that comes with your car insurance, and also work with third party vendors to add ~~super cool technology~~ that make emails even more personalized and #2016. It’s been a lot of work for an intern, but I’ve learned from awesome people and made some really close friends, so the experience is super rewarding!

Word on the street is you’re in charge of planning Senior Week… Anything fun planned? (Aka will I be able to wear a prom dress)

Word on the street is right ;) I’m one of two Co-Chairman for Senior week this year….go rams!!!!!!!! And yes, my ultimate end dream goal is to have an event at the end of the week where you can bring that prom dress back to life belle of the ball style. Stay tuned.

Who would play you if they made a movie about your life?

Hands down, Camilla Belle. I’d like to think there is decent resemblance there and she dated my middle school/current celebrity crush Joe Jonas. I’m obsessed, and I can clearly see why Joe dumped T.Swift for her #SryNotSry

If you were stranded on a deserted island what three items would you bring with you?

I’m going to take a wild guess I don’t have electricity so probably a water filter, an lifetime supply of granola bars, and enough books to last me until I die. Is this too morbid of an answer?

If you could live in one place right now, where would it be?

I’m pretty content with Boston to be honest, but if I had to move anywhere to live long term I feel like I would be equally as happy in northern California.

What has been your biggest / favorite accomplishment so far?

I somehow ended up winning Sawyer Business School ‘Outstanding Student of the Year’ last year – so that’s probably my favorite accomplishment. I think that’s where I peaked in my Suffolk career – how can you get higher than that? It’s so rewarding to be able to feel like people are noticing the grit and grind you’re putting in, so that to me was the moment I felt most proud of the work I’d endured.

What is your dream job?

Good question. I think I’m still figuring that out. If we’re thinking what’s practical, I could definitely see myself really enjoying being a Marketing Analyst. I’m far more numbers savvy than I am being creative, so that’s a job where I could leverage both what I like and what I’m good at. However, if we’re talking dream job, I would love being in the world of Sport Marketing, negotiating sponsorship deals and paid promotions or something like that. CEO of pretty much anything doesn’t hurt either, but I’m not picky.
