Research has proven that certain scents can seduce men by greatly appealing to their senses. The elite Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation discovered a list of pure dangerous seduction. Vanilla, Doughnut & Black Licorice, Pumpkin Pie, Orange, and Lily of the Valley, are the top scents that greatly appeal to guys when they get a whiff of a girl passing by.

Eau Flirt

Tis’ the season to add some spice to your flirting life.  Go for the ‘Love by Scent’ approach this holiday season under the mistletoe.  Who knew that a pleasant, sexy perfume could make a cutie’s heart race?

Feast your nose on an enticing aroma of delicious scents, all put into one perfume bottle.  Harvey Prince’s wickedly desirable, Eau Flirt, sparks an alluring and irresistible sensation in anyone who encounters a whiff of the unique spritz. Captivate an entire room with this dangerously flirtatious scent, which can be best described as a graceful, spicy seduction.

It has been studied that men find the mixtures of scents in this Eau Flirt perfume extremely arousing.  Experts have concluded one simple theory: guys “subconsciously associate pumpkin and lavender with happy, positive, and stimulating memories.”

Ingredients: Pumpkin Pie, Lavender, Jasmine, Citrus, Ambers, Cinnamon, Freesia, Ylang Ylang, and Nutmeg.

All of these stimulating scents combine together to make the, “Olfactory equivalent of a little red dress,” as New York Times has referred to it.

Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist

Spoil your body by taking a misty shower in luxurious Cashmere.  This sexy fragrance completely tempts the senses.  Cashmere Mist is a sensual blend of bergamot, lily of the valley, and Moroccan jasmine, with pleasant hints of amber, musk and sandalwood.  Nothing feels as sexy and cozy as a warm coat of cashmere on your skin.

Keiko Mecheri’s Loukhoum

The deliciously sweet and addicting, Loukhoum, is influenced by a Turkish delicacy, “rahat loukhoum,” – a heavenly concoction of noor dates, white almonds, and rose petal jam.  Soothing and savory, precious woods and vanilla smoothen into a powdery, delicate “dry down.”

Ingredients: precious woods, vanilla, white almond, Comores flowers, musk, rose absolute, hawthorn blossom, Bulgarian rose absolute

Christian Dior’s Hypnotic Poison

A fragrance held within the deadly poisonous and forbidden Garden of Eden, Apple makes Dior’s Hypnotic Poison extremely tempting and extremely dangerous.  Women who wear this scent will seductively lead their prey through the mystical gateway of the equally as wicked, “Garden of Lust.”  A combination of erotic musk and vanilla, luxurious Sambac jasmine, acrid almond and carvi – this bold scent is sure to make an enticing, sexy statement this holiday season.  This gourmet, smoky and dark concoction for the body will show your prey who is boss.

WARNING: This devilish “love potion” should be used wisely and sparingly.

My name is Alexa Mellardo and I am currently a sophomore and Broadcast Journalism major at Suffolk University, located in the heart of one of the most charming cities in the world: Boston. A passionate journalist, I am fortunate to be doing what I love to do….writing! When I’m not composing articles for two awesome online publications (hercampus.com and also collegefashionista.com) and attending classes, I intern at a trendy magazine in the city. In between, I love to shop and spend time with my friends and my boyfriend. I have two addictions: shopping and cupcakes. In light of that, what better place to be than just blocks away from Newbury Street, Charles Street and Quincy Market? My quaint, vintage brownstone apartment in Beacon Hill is where my two best friends and I keep it strictly classy and fashionable. We turned our apartment into a comfy fashionable haven, and we enjoy relaxing and entertaining our friends. Living in such an awesome city provides a wealth of opportunity, fun, and culture to embrace. My dream is to one day be a respected, well-known broadcast journalist.
