I’m quite a fan of poetry. I even write my own poetry, so I figured it would be a nice opportunity to list out some books of poetry for other readers to enjoy. If you don’t like poetry then feel free to click away from this article, I’d rather not bore anybody to death.

  1. Milk & Honey by Rupi Kaur
  2. The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur
  3. Heart Lines by Gemma Troy
  4. Ariel by Sylvia Plath
  5. Planting Gardens in Graves (Volume One) by R.H. Sin
  6. To Make Monsters Out of Girls by Amanda Lovelace
  7. Sea of Strangers by Lang Leav
  8. Mind Platter by Najwa Zebian
  9. The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe
  10. The Witch Doesn’t Burn in this One by Amanda Lovelace

Fall/Autumn, whichever title you use, is the season the leaves start to change color. This is also the beginning of warmer clothing and colder weather. I know I tend to read more during the chilly times of the year because nothing beats reading while wrapped inside a blanket drinking some hot cocoa. I can not express this better than with a quote I read in a book once: “If I know one thing in this world, then this is the thing I know.”

Because I’m in a somewhat decent mood, I shall share ONE of my poems with you all.

Watercolor ~

I’ll sketch a smile over your cracked lips,

I’ll add some shade to your curvy hips,

I’ll drip vibrant colors along your bricked wall,

I’ll paint your face, freckles, flaws and all.

I'm an art lover with lots of advice to share. I also think I'm pretty funny.
