This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tampa chapter.

With the semester winding down, here are some last minute events to check out before you head home for the summer!

1.) Tampa Bay Coffee and Art Festival

If you’re a coffee fanatic then this is an event that you’ll definitley want to check out on Saturday April 23rd. Located at Noise Box, you’ll be surrounded by coffee tastings, demonstrations, coffee sessions, and live music. In addition, all money raised will be donated to Bay Area Foundation, which provides scholarships for the performing arts for both students and teachers. The event starts at 6pm and you can pre-order tickets for $12, but will also be able to purchase them at the door for $15.

2.) Grilled Cheese Festival

If you love grilled cheese as much as I do, then this is a must event to check out! On Sunday April 24th from 11am-6pm, there will be food trucks that offer their best and most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches and to make this event even better, there will also be a full bar.  The event is free admission and located at Centro Asturiano de Tampa. In addition to be surrounded by gooey and delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, you can go ahead and bring your pets to this pet friendly event.

3.)

If you’re a fan of Bloody Mary’s then you’ll definitley want to go to the Tampa Bay Bloody Mary Festival. Enjoy walking around Channelside on Sunday, April 24th, from 11am-3pm, and enjoy unlimited Bloody Mary samples from local restaurants. If you’re not a huge fan of Blood Mary’s, there will also be Mimosas and brunch available to buy.

4.) Mayor’s Mac and Cheese Throw Down 2016

I am beyond excited for the Mayor’s Mac and Cheese ThrowDown! Located at Curtis Hixon Park from 4pm-10pm on Saturday, April 30th, you’ll be able to experience all the delicious types of mac and cheese that Tampa has to offer. If you love mac and cheese and all the differet types, tasting and voting for the best mac and cheese, and live music, then I definitely recommend checking out this event.

5.) Tampa RiverFest

Between April 30th to May 1st come down to Curtix Hixon park and take time to enjoy this relaxing and chill event the weekend before finals start. Tampa RiverFest will have cultural institutions, live music, and food and drinks from local businesses starting at 8am on April 30th and ending at 8pm on May 1st.
