Listening to podcasts in college is one of the cheapest and most entertaining ways to pass the time. Whether you’re cleaning your apartment or house, commuting to campus, or waiting for your next class to start, podcasting is the way to go! It is not only an escape from your busy schedule, but it teaches you valuable insights, provides free coaching, and gives you new ideas. Plus, it is totally FREE!
You can find all of these podcasts on Dear Media, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify. Most of them are only about an hour long, making it super easy to find time to listen. I have been listening to podcasts frequently for a couple of years now, and I want to share with you all my top three favorites that I am currently listening to!
- Call her Daddy, hosted by Alex Cooper:
This is personally my favorite one at the moment, and I know so many women out there love it too! This is the most listened to podcast by women on Spotify! The content is a mixture of advice, whether you are in a relationship or not, and hilarious stories that Alex loves to share with her listeners.
- I love you so much (ILYSM), hosted by Kenzie Elizabeth:
I just started listening to this a few months ago, recommended by a friend, and I absolutely LOVE it! Kenzie discusses the realities of life as a twenty-something in today’s world. From mental health struggles, hustle culture, relationships, friendships, and navigating college life, she is not afraid to mention it ALL!
- We Met at Acme, hosted by Lindsey Metselaar:
Lindsey Metselaar covers a range of topics, including relationships, vulnerability, and college tips. This podcast brings up so much emotion; I go from excitement to laughter to realization to fear and many more. Lindsey does a great job of making you feel not alone while giving helpful advice on knowing when to walk away, how to find real friends, and living by yourself for the first time.
