Spring Break is fast approaching for all schools, and if you don’t have plans, you’re probably going to be stuck at school for a week, but you can always find things to do. If your school is located in a warm place and you’re stuck there, you can have a staycation near a beach or somewhere with a pool. If you have friends sticking around, you can spend time with them, trying local restaurants. If you’re stuck somewhere cold, try some winter sports such as skiing or snowboarding. If your friends are around, get a cozy cabin in the woods with a fireplace.
If you have plans to go partying somewhere, here are some tips I find helpful for Spring Break:
- If it’s somewhere hot, please put on sunscreen; sun poisoning is not enjoyable and will ruin your fun!
- If it’s somewhere cold, make sure you pack appropriately and watch out for ice it can be dangerous.
- If you plan on partying during Spring Break, always watch your drinks get made and always cover them when moving around; this is a prime time for getting roofied, so be cautious.
- Make friends, but never leave your friends behind.
- Never get into a car with strangers; it’s dangerous, and this could save your life.
